WHO ARE WE?

The picture you see there is of both me and my Mom. I was born and raised in Washington, DC. We started District Se7en together with my little sister and cousin. I came up with the idea while I was working at my desk. I wanted a beard company that was tailor made for black beards and black skin care. The products we use traditionally are very different than other cultures because our skin and hair is different than other cultures. So I wanted to make a product that could not only fit our needs but also visually represented us. Oh yeah and I gotta throw DC in there, that's where the name "District" comes from.

I wasn't in the midframe that I eat by myself so I brought my family in on the idea and we all brought something to the table to make to product what it is today and also still growing into.

Me (Michael Linder) - I'm the visionary. I come up with the idea's and I have the network and connections to market the product locally.

My Mother (Christine) - Is the train of the operation. Having raised my alone at only 16 years old she keeps the wheels turning on the operation with her determination.
​
My Littler Sister (JoJo) - Is the artist. I told her my vison and she designed the packaging. She was always good at drawing a design so she innovates our brand.

My Cousin (Neal) - Lol He's the bodygaurd. Nuff said.
